Computer Science professor develops cybersecurity research program

Dr. Brad Glisson, Affiliate Professor of Computer Science at Louisiana Tech University, has made the Cybersecurity Facts Know-how Exploration (CITE) analysis team to offer a location for college students, academics, and sector pros from numerous disciplines to share their experiences in cybersecurity.
The team collaborates with other Nationwide Centers for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity and hosts weekly talks on cybersecurity and computer science matters and resulting exploration throughout the academic calendar year and gives a venue for members from diverse levels in their professions to existing present-day investigation routines, brainstorm upcoming study actions, and remedy true-planet issues.
Over this Spring Quarter, the investigate team has held talks on the consequences of residual info in modern society, ransomware on the Oculus, industry-programmable gate arrays, knowledge breaches in monetary institutions, and cell software exploitation with ad spoofing.
CITE will keep two extra presentations this spring. On May 16,Daniel Miller, Devices Expert at the College of South Alabama, will present “Toward Digital Forensics for 3D Printers,” and on Might 23, Dr. George Grispos, Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, will current “Towards a Security Testbed for Agriculture Autos and Environments.”
